Candido Rosete Missing Costa Mesa, CA – Police Seek Public’s Help

The Costa Mesa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Candido Rosete, 61, who was reported missing and considered an at-risk person on September 17, 2026.

According to an emergency alert issued by the Costa Mesa Police Department, Rosete was last seen at approximately 1:30 p.m. on September 16 near 2191 Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa, California. Police said he was last seen heading south on foot from the area.

Rosete is described as a 61-year-old Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He has black hair and gray facial hair.

Authorities noted that Rosete has dementia and requires medication, making the effort to locate him particularly urgent. Members of the public are being asked to remain alert and to contact police if they see someone matching his description.
