Zoe Stevens Missing, Alameda, CA – Police Seek Help Finding 15-Year-Old

Alameda police are asking the public for help locating 15-year-old Zoe Stevens, who was last seen at Encinal High School before boarding a San Francisco-bound ferry with a black Giant-brand bicycle.

According to the information provided, Stevens was last seen at the high school around 2:30 p.m. Friday. About an hour later, surveillance footage reviewed by the Alameda Police Department reportedly showed her boarding a San Francisco-bound San Francisco Bay Ferry at approximately 3:30 p.m.

At the time, Stevens was reportedly wearing a black zip-up hoodie, a black T-shirt, black baggy pants with chains, and black Doc Martens boots. She was also traveling with a black Giant-brand bicycle.

Police said Stevens has been without a cellphone since she disappeared, limiting the digital information investigators would normally be able to use when attempting to establish a missing person’s whereabouts.

A formal missing-person report was not filed until Saturday. Once the report was made, the case was classified as at-risk, according to the information provided.

Investigators have not confirmed whether Stevens arrived at the San Francisco Ferry Building or what route she may have taken after leaving the ferry. The available information also does not establish whether surveillance footage captured her after she crossed the bay.
